North Orbit Big Air Kite 2023

Indulging in proper megaloops in gusty weather requires a certain amount of confidence in your kite. The legendary 5-Strut (5 spokes) Big Air Kite Orbit offers incredible control with a lighter design. The 2023 model allows you more power than before while launching earlier due to the lighter weight.

Big jumps; big hang time. That's what the Orbit Big Air Kite 2023 from North stands for. It shoots you into the wind fast thanks to effortless steering and extreme boost and hang-time. Without changing the DNA of the Orbit, North designed the kite to be even easier to steer in conditions that are unpredictable to still give you a great feel and more confidence.

North understands what riders want from a high performance big air kite. Small structural changes have been made to optimize the profile for less drag, faster forward movement and smoother turning. A slightly more refined bridling means the kit feels more stable and more forgiving in difficult gusty conditions, while flying further forward and making kiteloops possible.

Thanks to lighter bladders and a new 2-ply canopy material reinforcement on the trailing edge, the Orbit 2023 is lighter. The lighter the kite, the faster the steering, the more lift it generates and the higher you can jump. The struts and leading edge are now made of the lighter N-Dure Dacron material. Furthermore, two more bar settings have been introduced, allowing you to choose between a softer control in cruisemode and a more direct control at the tip ends (bar pressure and control speed). This new setting gives you the possibility to loop the kite even deeper. This makes it more ideal for heavier riders with a smaller canopy size and with a support of up to 40 knots! The Orbit 2023 also responds to lighter steering inputs, which is due to the bridle lines being connected directly to the lines instead of using pulleys.
