With the Separett ejector tank with a volume of 50 liters, you can easily reuse collected urine from your separation toilet and simply distribute it, for example, on the lawn or in bushes for fertilizing, because urine contains valuable nutrients.
The Separett Ejektorrank is operated with simply with a water hose (1/2-inch connection(Gardena type) and thus mixes urine and water directly in the correct ratio for fertilizing the garden. The water pressure must be at least 2.5 bar (250 kPa) for the ejector tank to work optimally. Thus, 1 part of urine is mixed with 8 parts of water so that the vegetation can absorb the nutrients without being damaged.
With a volume of 50 liters, the Separett ejector tank should be large enough to apply urine every 2-3 weeks at a second home, for example. The included float indicates when the tank is full. The ejector tank is easy to assemble and has no moving parts.
Instructions for use
To empty the ejector tank, simply connect the garden hose with 1/2-inch connection (of Gardena type) to the hose coupling. The hose supplied is a 3/4-inch hose. Now, when you turn on the water, urine is drawn in, mixed with water, and then dispensed through the yellow hose so you can distribute the mixture.
When the tank is empty, you will hear a "slurping" sound.
Maintenance and cleaning
The ejector tank is not frost-proof! Therefore, the device cannot be used in winter and should stand frost-free or be emptied completely.
For cleaning after emptying, interrupt the water flow in the drain hose for about one minute. The backwater causes water to run into the tank and dilute any remaining urine. Then empty completely again.
